Senior Test Automation Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead our test automation initiatives in data-centric environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust test automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of automated testing strategies, leveraging expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation).
  • Design and execute UI and visualization testing using Selenium with Python, ensuring accurate validation of tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with Agile teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient test orchestration solutions utilizing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Drive innovation through mentorship and leadership, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth among QA engineers.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading test automation initiatives, with 6+ years of leadership experience and 7+ to 12 years of overall experience in Test Automation.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks, with hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and AWS services.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for writing validation scripts and automation logic, along with proficiency in GraphQL APIs and API testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI, with ability to implement alerting and reporting for test failures, anomalies, and validation issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams in Agile settings.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with agile Testing methodologies such as Scaled Agile, with familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools, understanding of DataOps methodologies and practices, and contributions to internal quality dashboards or data observability systems.
  • Awareness of metadata-driven testing approaches and lineage-based validations, with experience working with UI and visualization testing.
  • Background in defining QA strategies and leading test automation initiatives in data-centric environments, with excellent leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Strong background in technical collaboration and communication, with ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and drive innovation through mentorship and leadership.
