As an Electronics Design Engineering Specialist at Cadence, your primary focus will be on designing and implementing DFT (Design for Testability) IP using Verilog/SystemVerilog and/or VHDL. This involves creating high-quality RTL (Register-Transfer Level) code that meets the required specifications.
You will work closely with our team to design and implement POST (Programmable Observation Technology) and IST (In-Situ Testing) features for our DFT IP. Additionally, you will develop synthesis automation tools that integrate synthesis and timing constraints, RTL insertion, and verification.
Your expertise will be crucial in owning and maintaining existing DFT IP like LBIST (Logic Built-In Self-Test), extending its capabilities, and enhancing its performance.
