Job Title: Information Modeller

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement logical and physical data models, including conceptualizing and documenting entity-relationship diagrams for relational and dimensional schemas.
  • Develop and define web service data structures, focusing on object-oriented modelling (UML, object-role modelling), and ensuring alignment with system architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, and software engineers to interpret requirements and translate them into well-defined data and service models.
  • Create source-to-target mappings, metadata documentation, and model-driven specifications for ETL or integration tasks.
  • Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and evolvability, support versioning, governance, and team collaboration.
  • Assist in designing reporting layers, defining business rules, and optimizing query performance.
  • Strong command of data modelling techniques, including ERD design and relational/dimensional modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with modelling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, SAP Power Designer, ER/Studio, Enterprise Architect, etc.
  • Familiarity with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, metadata documentation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
