Job Title

A Network Presales Specialist is required to develop and execute effective sales strategies with channel partners, driving channel sales, and managing relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 8-18 years of experience in network solutions/presales, with expertise in Cisco as the primary OEM. Familiarity with Juniper, Arista, Versa, Fortinet, and HP is an advantage.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a convincing solution strategy regarding current, intermediate, and future modes of operations, including migration approach;
  • Designing and developing end-to-end network solution designs to meet agreed network solution requirements while considering economic parameters and competition;
  • Participating in due diligence meetings with customers to gather information on proposal/information requests and environments;
  • Successfully defending proposed techno-commercial solutions as part of the pre-sales process;
  • Preparing proposal documents, including proposals, pricing sheets, solution presentations against RFPs/RFIs, contractual documents, and understanding new data technologies/products and positioning them in relevant solution proposals.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in creating presentations, and a solid working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. Any graduate with technical expertise and relevant certifications will be considered.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of DC-LAN (Tiered designs, Leaf/Spine, VXLAN, DCI, SDN-ACI/NSX), WAN (SDWAN-Viptela/VeloCloud/Versa/Aruba), Campus LAN, Wireless, WLAN, Routing Protocols-BGP/OSPF, Switching/Tunneling Communication (i.e., IPsec/VXLAN/GRE), Load Balancer - F5, Network Knowledge of Automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BOM/BOQ creation etc.
  • Proficient in Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco SDA, and Cisco ACI, with the ability to create Bill of Materials (BOM). Familiarity with Fortinet, Versa, HP, Juniper, and automation tools such as Python and Ansible is advantageous.
