Our organization is looking for a Data Science Leader to drive innovation and development of machine learning and data analytics solutions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals working on cutting-edge technology to create tools and services. They will work closely with researchers, developers, architects, and IT teams to develop, deploy, and maintain applications in multiple environments.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and building process automation in our Core Map processes employing scalable Big Data infrastructure and machine learning techniques.
  • Developing and testing analytic and statistical models to improve internal data-driven processes and system control needs.
  • Acting as an expert and evangelist in areas of data mining, machine learning, statistics, and predictive analysis and modeling.
  • Leading predictive modeling or application teams on Core Map projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Econometrics, with a focus on computational statistics, data mining, machine learning, and optimization. They should also have experience with data mining and analytic methods, computer vision, deep learning, and point cloud processing algorithms.

Additionally, they should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and have experience with tools like Pig, Hive, and Hadoop/Spark. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential.
