Finance Assistant

This role is designed for individuals who are interested in finance, compliance and regulatory work. You will be responsible for assisting the company with incorporation, licensing and regulatory filings.

You will also prepare and manage documentation for registrations, approvals and legal compliance. This includes tracking application status and coordinating with government authorities for processing.

In addition, you will guide clients on statutory obligations and documentation related to company setup. You will support timely filing of returns with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS and Income Tax returns.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining financial records and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. You will ensure all work aligns with applicable compliance frameworks and legal guidelines.

You will act as a point of contact for clients on compliance and financial matters. Addressing client queries and providing support on filings and legal procedures will also be part of your role.

Finally, you will prepare financial reports like balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. Maintaining accurate records of filings, transactions and reports will be essential.

  • The ideal candidate should have a graduate or post-graduate degree from a commerce background (B.com, M.com BBA, MBA or equivalent).
  • Basic knowledge of GST filing, TDS and the Companies Act 2013 is required.
  • A working knowledge or exposure to compliance requirements such as ROC filings, statutory registers and documentation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices and compliance procedures is preferred.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage accurate documentation is required.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in finance compliance and regulatory work is desired.
