About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at General Mills India Centre. As a key member of our Digital and Technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support our business needs.



Job Overview

  • Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
  • Location: Mumbai

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with our Advanced Digital Transformation teams and partner to achieve required business outcomes by transforming, simplifying, integrating and managing our services in cloud.



Key Responsibilities

  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to provision and support our cloud engineering business needs.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and upgrade platforms to support custom-developed applications.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes Administration (GKE/Anthos).
  • Plan the installation, upgrades, and configurations of above products in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and support them.
  • Set up monitoring and implement observability using Datadog and Google Operations Suite.
  • Design and implement Disaster Recovery strategies for owned tech stacks.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery for greater scalability and resilience.
  • Provide consultation and collaborate with stakeholders, including Application/Data Developers, Data & Business teams, and support their Platform Engineering needs.
  • Comply with audit and other reporting requirements.
  • Install, configure, and support IIS on Windows OS using automation (Powershell-DSC).
  • Manage SSL Certificate lifecycles.


Requirements

  • Kubernetes Administration (GKE/Anthos), Docker
  • Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Terraform (cloud) to provision resources
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in dynamic environments
  • Experience of working with services provided by Google Cloud Platform or any other cloud provider – Kubernetes, networks, compute, Firewalls, Serverless platforms
  • Experience of working with Git, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Argo CD
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies & modern Software Engineering principles
  • Load balancing and Clustering concepts
