GPU Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled GPU Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Qualcomm Adreno GPU Software team, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation GPU Developer Tools.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape how developers optimize for the Snapdragon Adreno GPU and gain insight into next-generation GPU hardware design.

  • Design and develop profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tools features.
  • Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams on performance validation and analysis.
  • Debug issues, optimize for the user experience, and work with the developer ecosystem, partners, and OEMs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Extensive programming knowledge in C/C++.
  • Strong knowledge of GPU hardware and graphics concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver software features and products while ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Developing graphics applications with Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL or graphics development through Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot or a comparable graphics or game engine.
  • Developing GPU computing applications with OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL etc.
  • Debugging, optimizing, profiling, and tuning real-time graphics and/or compute applications.
Education

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and 6+ years of software engineering experience. Alternatively, you may have a Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, or a PhD in a related field and 4+ years of experience.
