About the Role
GLG is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Associate to join our global Compliance department in Gurugram, India.
The successful candidate will provide timely and thoughtful support for global client service professionals, developing strong actionable business skills and expertise in risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct screening of expert profiles and background to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Identify potential concerns and conduct further research using proprietary databases and/or public domain
- Work closely with other global compliance team members to provide real-time compliance support and guidance as needed
- Ensure that risks are identified, assessed, managed, and reported in a timely manner
- Conduct investigations including potential financial crime cases, as required by the business
Requirements
- A Postgraduate/Graduate degree with 2-4 years of experience in risk advisory, due diligence, and compliance or a related field
- Relevant certifications in Risk Management and/or Compliance & Ethics will be preferred
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent Internet-based research skills
