Visual Branding Specialist Job Description:

We seek a seasoned Visual Branding Specialist with extensive experience in graphic design, particularly in product packaging. This key role demands expertise in creating visually appealing and functional designs that enhance brand messaging.

  1. Design Responsibilities:
    • Create compelling graphics for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
    • Develop visual assets for marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and other print collateral.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce cohesive brand messaging.
  2. Product Packaging Design:
    • Lead the design process for product packaging from initial concept to final production.
    • Design innovative packaging solutions that are both visually appealing and functional.
    • Work closely with product managers to understand packaging requirements.
    • Develop dielines, 3D mockups, and prototypes to visualize packaging concepts.
  3. Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure all designs align with the brand's visual identity and guidelines.
    • Maintain consistency in style and quality across all graphic and packaging materials.
    • Contribute to ongoing development and refinement of the brand's look and feel.
  4. Project Management:
    • Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
    • Mentor junior designers and provide feedback to help them develop their skills.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design work with broader company goals.
  5. Trend Awareness & Innovation:
    • Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.
    • Bring fresh ideas to the team, exploring new design approaches to keep the brand relevant.
    • Experiment with new techniques and tools to elevate design quality and efficiency.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging design. Proven experience in a senior design role is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience in creating packaging designs, including knowledge of dielines, mockups, and production-ready files.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and mockup software for packaging (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
  • Creative Skills: Strong sense of design aesthetics, color theory, typography, and layout.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas clearly.
