
Floating Solar Business Development Professional

We seek a dynamic Business Development Executive with proven solar industry experience to drive our floating solar sales in India. This role requires frequent travel, proactive client engagement, and the ability to represent our company professionally in all business settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Market Analysis: Identify potential floating solar deployment sites, including industrial facilities, reservoirs, and government-owned water bodies.
- Lead Management: Follow up on incoming leads, queries, and tenders to ensure timely engagement.
- Client Meetings & Presentations: Arrange and attend meetings with clients, EPC contractors, government bodies, and utilities to present our solutions.
- Site Assessment: Conduct preliminary assessments of water bodies for floating solar feasibility, coordinating with the technical team.
- Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline across target regions.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Reporting: Maintain records of visits, leads, and progress for weekly management reviews.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in the solar industry (floating solar experience preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills in the solar ecosystem.
- Familiarity with tender processes, EPC workflows, and solar project lifecycles.
- Ability to travel extensively across India.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
