Principal BIM Drafter

We are seeking a skilled BIM Structural Draftsman to support our structural engineering team by creating accurate and detailed 3D models and structural drawings.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in structural drafting using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools, with a good understanding of construction standards and regulations.

This role is responsible for creating and managing BIM models, collaborating with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency, and producing accurate shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and regulations, assisting in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM software, verifying quality control of drafted output, and managing drawing revisions.

Additionally, the candidate will attend meetings and provide input on constructability and detailing issues.

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum [3-5] years of experience as a structural draftsman, with at least [2] years using BIM/Revit.
• Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
• In-depth knowledge of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning, etc.) and detailing standards.
• Experience working on large-scale projects is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Certification in Revit or BIM is beneficial.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
• Experience working in consultant or contractor environments in India is advantageous.
