About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Resiliency Engineer to join our team and lead the charge in ensuring our systems remain operational under any conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing resiliency-focused testing strategies for large-scale applications and infrastructure. This includes developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive resiliency testing strategies to ensure system reliability and uptime.
  • Developing and executing test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system performance under various failure scenarios.
  • Analyzing test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering teams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python, Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
