Business Development Manager for Commercial and Industrial Renewable Energy Solutions
Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the commercial and industrial segment through renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities with commercial and industrial customers, ensuring revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify potential customers for third-party and captive renewable energy solutions (solar/wind/hybrid).
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
3. Build a strong pipeline of potential customers and drive deal closures.
4. Prepare and present competitive business proposals.
About the Role:
The role involves driving growth in the commercial and industrial segment through renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development/sales in the renewable energy sector, preferably in commercial and industrial sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* 10-12 years of experience in business development/sales in the renewable energy sector, preferably in commercial and industrial sales.
* Strong understanding of third-party/captive power models, open access policies, and PPA structures.
* Proven track record of closing deals and meeting revenue targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Preferred skills include knowledge of solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy solutions, experience working with corporate clients across manufacturing, IT, retail, and other industries, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
