Senior Accounting Professional

  • Key Responsibilities:

    ">
    • Vendor Invoice Management:
      • Coordinate with the accounting team to review and process vendor invoices.
      • Verify that all invoices are accurately recorded in the SAP system.
      • Process capitalization entries for fixed assets in SAP.
      • Manage internal orders for ongoing projects, including plant and machinery and building-related tasks.
      • Settle internal orders for asset capitalization in SAP.
      • Post monthly depreciation according to Companies Act and Income Tax Act regulations.
      • Prepare and maintain a schedule of fixed assets as per Companies Act and Income Tax Act requirements.
    • Tax Compliance:
      • Calculate and deposit TDS and TCS liabilities on a monthly basis.
      • Collaborate with the chartered accountant (CA) to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
      • Compute and deposit advance taxes.
      • File TDS and TCS returns and issue certificates to vendors.
      • Perform 26AS reconciliation.
      • Assist in tax audits and state audits.
    • GST Management:
      • Demonstrate good knowledge of GST RCM, block credit, and input-related provisions.
    • Month-End Closing Support:
      • Contribute to month-end closing reporting.
    • Team Collaboration and Communication:
      • Facilitate coordination within teams and departments.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Accounting degree (BCOM, MCOM, MBA, or CA Inter).
    • 4-7 years of experience working with SAP Business One, SAP HANA, ECC, or SAP BYD, preferably in a FMCG industry.
    • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, TDS, Income Tax, GST, and Fixed Assets Accounting in SAP.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
