Job Title: Assistant Accounts

To manage the company's accounting, taxation, budgeting, and financial planning functions while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role also involves handling transfer pricing documentation and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth business operations.

Work Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Preferred Candidate Location: Western Mumbai (for ease of commute)

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reports to: Accounts & Finance Manager / Senior Management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
  • Handle tax assessments, statutory audits, and compliance with Indian accounting standards.
  • Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants and auditors on compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Provide MIS and variance analysis reports to management.
  • Monitor cash flows, fund requirements, and banking transactions.
  • Assist in foreign exchange-related transactions.
  • Coordinate statutory, internal, and transfer pricing audits.
  • Strengthen internal control processes.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Trading, and Warehouse teams for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Conduct periodic warehouse visits for stock verification and finance-related checks.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualification: CA / Inter CA (preferred).
  • Experience: 3–7 years in Accounts & Finance within Sales & Trading / Manufacturing companies.
  • Hands-on experience in Transfer Pricing, GST, Taxation, Budgeting, Forecasting, and MIS Reporting.
  • SAP B1 / SAP Hana - Mandatory, Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in a Japanese company will be a strong value addition.
  • Should be open to warehouse visits and cross-functional coordination.
