Project Oversight Expert

As a seasoned project management expert, you will play a pivotal role in steering key infrastructure projects for clients across various sectors. Your primary focus will be on collaborating closely with technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of these projects.

  • You will lead project planning, control, and reporting initiatives in line with established frameworks, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Compliance with governance standards and contractual obligations will be your top priority, guaranteeing that projects are executed within regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate project reporting calendars and coordinating regular reviews will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • Developing and maintaining project finance dashboards and EAC forecasts is crucial for informed decision-making.
  • Team utilisation tracking and supporting resource planning across multiple projects will be essential for efficient project management.
  • Effective onboarding/offboarding processes and maintaining compliance matrices will help ensure a smooth transition for new team members and maintain project integrity.
  • Client communication and issue resolution will be handled by you as a dedicated focal point.
  • Supporting project managers and technical leads in delivering design deliverables will require collaboration and effective communication.
  • Participating in strategic refinement and continuous improvement initiatives will drive innovation and growth within the organisation.
  • Reviewing and advising on contract scope discussions with project delivery teams will be critical in ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Membership in a Professional Institution (or) Relevant Project Management certification (APM, PRINCE 2, MRICS, PMP).
  • 8-13 years of experience in a similar role with proven expertise in project management.
