We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Professional to join our team at EXL Service. As an Insurance Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with compliance rules and internal standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers, resolving their queries and issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
- Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with compliance rules and internal standards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the AM, LAM, and QCA, to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, updates, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with external teams, such as escalation teams, to resolve customer issues and improve relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, and good computer navigation skills.
- Strong typing speed (25 WPM) and accuracy (90%), with the ability to read and understand related reports.
