This senior-level role requires a seasoned Agile expert to facilitate and coach teams in adopting Scrum methodologies. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Agile Culture:
    • Establish and maintain a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Sprint Execution:
    • Ensure seamless execution of Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint retrospectives, and demo sessions.
  • Backlog Prioritization:
    • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and team capabilities.
  • JIRA Management:
    • Effectively manage the team's work in JIRA, ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and updates of tasks, stories, and epics.
  • Reporting and Metrics:
    • Track and report sprint progress, velocity, and team performance, providing visibility into the team's progress to stakeholders and ensuring achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on sprint goals, product vision, and timelines.
  • Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and roadblocks, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience working in Agile environments with a strong focus on Scrum methodology.
  • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent Agile certifications are preferred.
  • Tools Expertise: Extensive experience using JIRA and Confluence for tracking and managing agile projects. Technical proficiency with Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence)
  • Agile Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices for Agile delivery.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen focus on resolving challenges that impede team progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven experience in creating and maintaining a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
