Job Title: Backend Developer - Building Scalable APIs

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable RESTful web service APIs in Java. As a key member of our agile team, you will collaborate to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive continuous improvement in our products and processes.

Your primary focus will be on building clean, documented, and testable code using industry-standard practices such as TDD, JUnit, Postman, and Swagger. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving performance issues at all layers of the system, ensuring high-performance services that meet demanding standards.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of software development experience utilizing Java with at least 2 years' experience working with REST Web Services.
  • Strong foundational skills in Java and Object-Oriented Programming required.
  • Familiarity with API security and experience working with an API Gateway for API authorization is essential.
