Job Title:

R&D Operations Assistant


 
Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented R&D Operations Assistant to join our team. As an R&D Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our research and development activities.

You will work closely with our global team to identify gaps and suggest resolution options with corrective action plans. You will also be responsible for timely escalation of issues that would impact agreed plans.

Additionally, you will demonstrate quality mind with 'Right First Time' practice by following documented procedures and good documentation practice.

You will actively contribute to process improvements/ways of working and elevate our compliance standards.

As an R&D Operations Assistant, you will be aware, accountable, and follow all relevant Reckitt Quality Management Standards.

Key Challenges:

Managing priorities and wide-ranging projects/deliverables against, often, tight timelines will be a significant challenge for this role.

Effectively collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, in different functions and geographics will also require strong communication skills.

Could potentially be remotely managed, so flexibility is required.

Requirements:
  • Science-based degree, with experience in an R&D or Regulatory environment, working with data systems (TDS, databases).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accurate, with a proven ability to work under pressure without compromise.
  • Results oriented and self-motivated, with planning and organizational capabilities and good problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate and willing to embrace new challenges.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills, ability to develop positive collaborative relationships.
  • System-savvy: broad knowledge of computerised systems, database management and reporting applications.
  • Strong analytical skills: aptitude to analyse and understand data in various forms, and provide both detailed and synthetic reporting.
  • Experience of working in FMCG or related industry, particularly with Reckitt types of products (preferred not essential).
  • Experience of handling data: creating database, PowerApps, PBi etc
