Job Description:

The role of a senior campaign developer involves building, adapting and delivering complex marketing campaigns across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional project management capabilities and serve as a subject matter expert in email marketing platforms.

The successful candidate will design and develop mobile-responsive cross-channel marketing campaigns and templates from simple to complex using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies. They will also be responsible for maintaining the campaign workbook, including timelines, deliverables and auditing for new client implementations.

In addition, they will manage setup/testing/debugging efforts for instant triggers and their corresponding XML API protocols. The candidate will require solid Python fundamentals and an understanding of workflow orchestration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in building complex campaigns, data import and export processes, working knowledge of APIs and dynamic block content across various email marketing platforms.
  • Expert proficiency in front-end web development with strong knowledge of hand-coding HTML and CSS, as well as scripting languages such as JavaScript and Jquery.
  • Intermediate proficiency in XML, XSLT and SQL.
  • Experience testing in multiple email clients, browsers and/or devices.
  • Strong knowledge of functionalities of email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills by gathering and analyzing information from a diverse set of sources to fully understand a problem and produce solutions.
  • Understanding of relational database fundamentals and related technology query tools.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
