
Closeout Manager

The primary role of this position is to oversee the closeout process across various project stages. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.
This includes anticipating, managing, and coordinating all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines. Additionally, the individual will maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with project controls team members to verify accuracy and integrity of information.
The individual in this role will also oversee return of confirmed surplus materials through RMA process, ensuring all items are appropriately recorded in warehouse and PeopleSoft.
Maintaining regular communication with project-assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation is also a key responsibility of this position.
Other responsibilities include assisting scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required, serving as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality team, ensuring they are appropriately filed in site folder, reviewing subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery, and forwarding them to scoping team as necessary.
Additionally, the individual in this role will own final turnover package, which includes reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by General Contractor (GC), regularly following up with GCs regarding deliverables, and either suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents for revision.
Acting as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to Closeout Coordinator as needed in Smartsheet.
The individual in this role will also manage all JVizion (JV) tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
Ongoing follow-up on punch list items and EHS tasks to achieve W002015 actual is also required.
Qualifications/Experience- Industry experience: 2+ years
- Good understanding of engineering concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications
- Engineering certification in related discipline (preferred)
- Working knowledge of industry standard materials (preferred)
- Construction management background
- Telecommunication Experience of any kind (Broadband, Telecom, Broadcast, etc.)
- Construction Estimators
- Ability to support US Eastern Time Zone
A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is required.
