Strategic Data Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect who can lead all activities defining client business data assets in alignment with the Client's Data & Analytics Strategy. The ideal candidate will discover and analyze data and analytics requirements, applying logical and analytical thinking to deliver scalable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Shape the client's Data & Analytics Strategy to align with long-term business goals.
  2. Lead data architecture and solution design, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  3. Apply deep expertise in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling, data vault, star schema, and snowflake schema.
  4. Design and implement data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica with Snowflake for seamless data movement and transformation.
  5. Adjust and refine designs on the fly, providing clear justifications for decisions.
  6. Create data models using Visio, Erwin, or similar tools.
  7. Develop mapping documents and collaborate with ETL and testing teams for seamless implementation.
  8. Interact with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather, validate requirements, and secure sign-offs.
  9. Drive multiple initiatives/projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  10. Enhance organizational decision-making by surfacing data priorities and maximizing value derived from analytics.
  11. Conduct business data modeling and enable enterprise data management practices.
Requirements

The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data architecture and solution design.
  • Expertise in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling, data vault, star schema, and snowflake schema.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica with Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and enterprise data management practices.
