Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer with extensive experience in cloud development and DevOps tooling to join our team remotely. This role will play a key part in designing and building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java Spring Boot.
  • Build and deploy applications on AWS, leveraging best practices for cloud-native development.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment using tools like Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices with Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
