Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Electrical Design Engineer. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting power distribution analyses, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support project goals.

The key objective of this role is to design and implement efficient electrical systems that meet the required specifications and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design Development: Create detailed electrical designs using software tools and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct power distribution analyses, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems in existing electrical systems.

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in Power Distribution systems and proficiency in etap are highly valued assets.
