Senior Test Automation Lead

As a Senior Test Automation Lead, you will oversee the work of a team of automation engineers in one or more functional areas with responsibility for all aspects of test automation, including framework enhancements and evangelizing quality.

• Review source code for potential problems, help debug and triage issues, and isolate fixes.
• Guide tool analysis, create proof-of-concept models, and make recommendations to support the tools selection process.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement industry best practices for coding guidelines, peer reviews, Git workflow, process workflow, quality gates, CI/CD processes, etc.
• Actively participate in reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and program code with architects and developers.
• Promote quality engineering processes, practices, and standards both within and across teams.
• Enable CI/CD integration for various automated test suites.
• Ensure proper test reporting, alerting, and enforcement of quality gates.

You will continuously evaluate opportunities for improvement and invest in building robust data seeding and test execution techniques to ensure reliable test results. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams including Release Management, SRE, Performance Engineering, Project Management, and Application Support to ensure successful delivery of new system features.

As a Senior Test Automation Lead, you will design and document comprehensive test strategies, testing guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), utilities, and tools to improve test automation efficiency. You will also provide guidance to automation engineers, serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple application areas, and monitor the success of mentees.
