The Senior Customer Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for advanced technical support queries, ensuring prompt resolution of high-priority issues. This role involves leading root cause analysis efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive permanent fixes and continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities include establishing and upholding support best practices, developing comprehensive knowledge base articles, and creating detailed diagnostic procedures for internal teams and customers. Additionally, this role requires monitoring service level agreements (SLA) for response and resolution times, implementing measures to exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
This position independently manages full lifecycle technical projects, including client onboarding, platform upgrades, and solution rollouts. Responsibilities include defining project charters, schedules, and resource plans, ensuring clear accountability across stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, one must be a strategic problem solver, operational leader, customer advocate, collaborative influencer, and results-driven professional. Experience Required: 10–15 years of professional experience in technical support, systems engineering, or customer-facing IT services is required, along with a minimum of 5+ years managing customer-facing technical projects or enterprise implementations.
