Middleware Integration Developer Role

This role involves creating integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) for seamless system communication.

  • Design and Development: Develop integration solutions using IIB to enable communication between diverse systems.
  • Message Flows and ESQL: Design and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work with architects to understand integration requirements, troubleshoot issues related to middleware and integration components, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Testing and Optimization: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT), monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Documentation and Support: Document design, development, and operational procedures, and provide post-deployment support for production deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, WebSphere MQ (MQ Series), and messaging concepts.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Key Responsibilities
