Expert Mathematician

We are seeking a skilled mathematician to join our team of professionals who share your passion for mathematics and problem-solving. As a mathematician at our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of mathematical calculations in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze mathematical data.
• Review mathematical formulas and math sheet information to ensure accuracy.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying mathematical data.
• Follow all work instructions on a daily basis.
• Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
• Utilize required databases for quality assurance and testing.
• Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
• Provide detailed completion reports at the end of each project.
• Interface with other members of the development team to effectively communicate and resolve reported issues in a timely manner before product release.
• Reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving issues.
• Responsible for project escalations for each assigned project.

Requirements:

• Knowledge or experience with math fundamentals (statistics and probability).
• Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
• Knowledge or experience with C/C++/C# programming.
• Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge or experience with Python or other shell scripting languages (a plus).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
