As a seasoned infrastructure professional, we are seeking a Chief Infrastructure Architect to drive system reliability and performance through technical depth and proactive mindset.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing resilient infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation
    • Utilize Python for cloud service automation, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
    • Integrate cloud services into monitoring systems, providing real-time visibility and insights.
  • Infrastructure Management
    • Deploy cross-cloud infrastructure using Terraform, leveraging its power to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
    • Apply Infrastructure as Code expertise, ensuring consistency, reproducibility, and version control of infrastructure configurations.
  • Cloud Architecture Knowledge
    • Implement resilient design patterns, including failover and disaster recovery, to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
    • Work with multi-cloud environments (primarily GCP and Azure), maximizing flexibility and minimizing vendor lock-in.
  • Monitoring Systems
    • Foster comprehensive understanding of observability frameworks, enabling data-driven decision-making and issue resolution.
    • Implement monitoring as code, ensuring automated deployment, scalability, and maintainability.
    • Experience with Dynatrace, Elastic, Splunk, and PagerDuty, integrating these tools to enhance system reliability and performance.
    • Integrate observability tools to enhance reliability, reducing mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR).
  • Logging & Alert Systems
    • Proficiency with Splunk and native cloud logging solutions, ensuring log collection, analysis, and alerting capabilities.
  • Deployment Pipelines
    • Jenkins and Groovy implementation experience, crafting strong CI/CD pipeline backgrounds.
    • Craft strong CI/CD pipeline background, ensuring automated testing, building, and deployment of applications and infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving & Security
    • Pursue advanced troubleshooting capabilities, leveraging expert knowledge to resolve complex issues.
    • Remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring robust security posture and compliance with industry standards.
    • Demonstrate networking fundamentals, understanding protocols, architectures, and best practices.
    • Achieve security compliance knowledge, including Azure VM vulnerability assessment, to minimize risk and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Additional Valuable Skills
    • Java and .NET application development background, enhancing overall technical versatility.
    • Enhance networking expertise, deepening understanding of network concepts, protocols, and architectures.
