Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled React/Next.js Engineer with deep expertise in React 18 and Next.js 14 to lead the development of high-performance, real-time web applications. The ideal candidate should have proven experience building fast, scalable applications — ideally in domains like trading, finance, or other performance-critical platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing interactive applications with strict performance budgets, modern server-first patterns, and real-time data flows. This includes implementing Next.js App Router, Server Actions, Route Handlers, Middleware, ISR, and Edge Runtime features to deliver seamless user experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain performant applications using React 18 and Next.js 14.
2. Implement Next.js App Router, Server Actions, Route Handlers, Middleware, ISR, and Edge Runtime features.
3. Build server-first applications with React Server Components, Suspense, and streaming SSR to improve application efficiency.
4. Optimize application performance using React Profiler, @next/bundle-analyzer, dynamic imports, next/image, and caching strategies to ensure seamless user experiences.
5. Deliver trading-focused UIs with high-FPS charts, responsive data grids, debounced inputs, optimistic updates, and skeleton loading states to enhance user engagement.
6. Manage real-time data using WebSockets or SSE for quotes and order updates to provide timely information.
7. Implement forms using React Hook Form + Zod with server-side validation to ensure data integrity.
8. Build modular, accessible UIs with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Radix Primitives (plus occasional Chakra UI) to meet accessibility standards.
9. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with TypeScript (strict mode), ESLint, and Prettier to ensure quality.
10. Ensure quality with Playwright E2E testing, Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, and accessibility checks to guarantee defect-free applications.
11. Contribute to observability and security practices including Sentry, New Relic, CSP with next-safe, secure cookies, and AuthN/AuthZ to safeguard user data.
12. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs.
