Billing Manager

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled US Medical Billing expert to lead and manage a new Revenue Cycle Management team. This position requires end-to-end knowledge of the US healthcare revenue cycle, including medical billing, coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Setup & Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of experienced billers and coders, establish processes and training, and ensure compliant delivery for US clients.
  • Revenue Cycle Management Operations:
    • Medical Billing & Coding
    • Prior Authorizations
    • Insurance Verification
    • Charge Entry & Payment Posting
    • Denial Management
    • Ensure HIPAA compliance and process efficiency.
  • Performance & Quality Control: Monitor KPIs (Days in AR, First Pass Resolution Rate, and Denial %), identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with US stakeholders, provide regular reports and actionable management insights.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in US RCM, with 3+ years in a billing manager/supervisor role.
  • Strong expertise in medical billing, coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.
  • Familiarity with major PM/EHR systems.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership presence and decision-making skills.
