Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of high-quality food items for the menu requested by their supervisor.
- Maintain advanced knife handling skills and adhere to safety protocols.
- Work efficiently in any section of a kitchen, ensuring seamless operations.
- Have a good understanding of food knowledge and culinary terms.
- Read, understand, follow, and prepare recipes accurately.
- Work productively and efficiently, meeting deadlines and high standards.
- Follow public health guidelines according to company standards.
- Ensure assigned areas are clean and prepared for inspection.
- Report for duty on time, follow instructions, and maintain personal appearance and hygiene according to company rules.
Qualifications and Education:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment is required.
- A culinary school degree is essential.
- Strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment are necessary.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills are required.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills are expected.
- Knowledge of personalized services including needs assessment techniques and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques is desired.
- Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills are necessary.
- Intermediate computer software skills are required.
