Senior Cloud Engineer Position

This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure. We seek an experienced professional to oversee the development of cloud-native architectures for Large Language Model (LLM)-based products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create cloud-native architectures that cater to LLM-based products and services
  • Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for AI model deployment and updates
  • Collaborate with AI product managers and data engineers to transform prototypes into production-ready solutions
  • Implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation
  • Design and maintain network architecture, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing tables, security groups, and more
  • Configure and manage VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions
  • Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) remotely to transition client's existing on-premises network devices, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and network engineering trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Contribute to the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and client proposals

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on GCP and Azure
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in GCP/Azure services such as VMs, Storage, SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance, and Functions
  • Strong expertise in network engineering, including designing and managing complex network architectures
  • Experience with cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, and network security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
