WordPress Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update website content, including blogs, events, podcasts, and resources.
  • Design and develop new pages, landing pages, and microsites that meet brand standards.
  • Customize and manage WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed to improve user engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the front-end and back-end to minimize downtime.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including front-end and back-end skills.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL to build scalable and efficient websites.
  • Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor or Divi to streamline content creation.
  • A strong design sense and ability to translate mockups into functional pages that meet brand guidelines.
  • Familiarity with plugins, integrations, and analytics tools to track website performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • A basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization techniques to improve search engine rankings.
  • The ability to work independently and self-motivated to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
