At Capco Technologies Pvt Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on engaging projects with some of the largest banks in the world.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in backend development, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP). The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot.

  • The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • They will implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration.
  • Our ideal candidate will also be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
  • Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes will also be utilized to ensure optimal deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
  • The successful candidate will also implement service mesh using Istio for secure and reliable microservices communication.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform is also a key responsibility.
  • Integrating and managing Kafka for building scalable and robust messaging and streaming platforms is another essential task.
  • The ideal candidate will also develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.
  • Monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus will also be implemented.
  • Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployments will be managed by the successful candidate.
  • Implementing security best practices across all aspects of the backend systems and infrastructure is crucial.
Requirements:

The following requirements must be met for this role:

  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in backend development, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Experience in front-end development and general programming knowledge.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for automating infrastructure setup and management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.
  • Proficiency with Kafka for building scalable messaging and streaming systems.
  • Experience with Maven for build automation and dependency management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Estimated Salary:

Rupee 1500000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
