Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Systems R&D team, you will play a vital role in the design and development of software components addressing various customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in programming languages and development experience on Windows/Linux platform in traditional text-based programming and/or NI Software. A strong understanding of software design principles, problem-solving skills, and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools and processes are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Development: Design and implement, test software features and capabilities for new and existing offerings in key application spaces.
  • Tool Development: Design and develop tools and infrastructure to improve development efficiency.
  • Agile Team Environment: Work in an Agile team environment in a global setting to prioritize work items and leverage resources to deliver features in a release on-time.
  • Coding Guidelines: Follow and refine coding guidelines and provide effective code reviews.
  • Feature Testing: Evaluate feature testing strategies and contribute to writing effective test plans.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively in a team setting, and have a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in programming languages and development experience on Windows/Linux platform in traditional text-based programming and/or NI Software.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools and processes.
  • Minimum 6 years working experience in SW development working on actual system setup or application.
  • Excellent communication skill in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in system integration projects.
  • Understanding of NI software tools (LabVIEW, TestStand, Veristand).
  • Hands-on use of NI Hardware Platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile software development principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain system from electrical or software standpoint.
  • Able to understand system configuration.
