Job Description:

Rubber processing machine operators play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by setting up, operating and tending to machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding and curing rubber materials or products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil and chemicals into machines according to established procedures
  • Check and monitor processing conditions and product quality to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Adjust machines to proper settings as required to optimize production efficiency
  • Train or assist new workers in learning job tasks and responsibilities
