Job Title: Technical Software Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical software tester to join our team. As a technical software tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have excellent testing skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Develop, execute and debug high-quality automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and relevant tools.
  • Execute test cases across different browsers and platforms.
  • Collect and manage test data for data-driven testing.
  • Identify, track and report defects using Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams and project stakeholders to ensure test objectives are met.
  • Perform and manage regression testing to ensure application stability.
  • Integrate automation tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Automation Tool: Selenium WebDriver.
  • Programming Languages: Java (primary), with potential exposure to Python, C#.
  • Testing Frameworks: TestNG or JUnit.
  • BDD Frameworks: Cucumber.
  • Project Management & Defect Tools: Jira, Confluence.
  • Version Control: Git, Bitbucket.
  • Build Tools: Maven or Gradle.
  • API Testing Tools: Rest Assured.
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum.
