Electrical Design Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in transformer design to lead our project.
About the Role:
- Design high-quality transformers based on customer specifications and industry standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Create detailed technical specifications for transformer components, including windings, cores, tap changers, and bushings, to support manufacturing and quality control processes.
- Develop and execute electrical calculations, simulations, and testing strategies to validate transformer designs and confirm performance characteristics.
- Review and revise designs to ensure adherence to relevant standards, such as ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, DOE, and safety regulations.
- Publish comprehensive technical documentation, comprising drawings, schematics, and material lists, to facilitate efficient production and maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in transformer design, preferably in a leadership or senior design engineer role.
- Exceptional knowledge of electrical engineering principles and transformer design standards, with the ability to apply this expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines and within budget constraints.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, fostering open communication and driving teamwork to achieve shared objectives.
