About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team at Shipway Technology Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in PHP and other related technologies, as well as experience in agile methodologies. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring junior developers while contributing to the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and other related technologies, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and scalable.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, working closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews to help them grow and develop their skills, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring that all software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

- Implement best practices in agile methodologies, such as continuous integration and delivery, to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing performance and ensuring security, and providing expert-level support to junior developers and other team members as needed.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in full-stack development, particularly with PHP, and experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.

- Extensive experience with agile development processes and tools, such as JIRA and Git, and a solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

- Ability to lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting knowledge sharing and expertise across the team.

Good to Have:

- Knowledge of Python or Node.js, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to microservices architecture and API design, and a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
