Job Title: Software Quality Specialist II A dynamic and challenging role has become available for a motivated individual to join our team. As a Software Quality Specialist II, you will be responsible for working with the payments QA team to ensure seamless system integration testing and end-to-end testing for new functionality releases. You will work closely with the US leadership team to guarantee that all planned releases are completed successfully.Key Responsibilities:
  • Test SOA service-oriented architecture-based Applications
  • Analyze business requirements and develop test plans and scripts based on objectives and design
  • Perform Web Services and Message-Based Testing
  • Automate Regression Suites for Applications
  • Report defects and status
  • Support UAT and End-to-End Testing efforts
  • Provide weekend support for both Independent and Integrated releases
Required Skills and Qualifications: To excel in this position, candidates should have extensive experience in SOA and Web Services Service Testing. They must also possess knowledge of industry standards for Middleware Testing, Messaging Validation, and Virtualization. Additionally, they should be proactive planners who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Candidates should have at least 57 years of hands-on experience in API testing using tools such as SoapUI, SOATest, or equivalent. They should also have a good understanding of XML, SOAP, MQ, WSDL, JSON Technologies, and experience working on other SOA testing tools.Candidates should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems. They should be detail-oriented, persistent, and able to drive complicated tasks through to completion.They should also be excellent communicators and documenters, and should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Individual contributors who can self-direct daily tasks are preferred.Beyond technical skills, candidates should seek out best practices to improve the Test Execution Process. Desired Skills include Parasoft SOATest, SOA, Web Services, Web Methods, XML, SOAP, MQ, and WSDL, as well as JIRA, writing detailed test plans, and test scripts. Knowledge of JDBC, SQL, CA Lisa, UFT, Mainframe Testing, COBOL, Endevor, Easytrieve, Sort, REXX Utility, and Agile project lifecycle is a plus. Functional knowledge of Banking/Payments Domain and Secondary Expertise in Agile project lifecycle are highly valued.
