Job Description:


DCS Group seeks an experienced Architect to lead architectural design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgetary constraints, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead architectural design projects, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and feasible design solutions.
  • Provide expertise in architectural planning, site analysis, spatial design, and material selection to optimize project outcomes and enhance overall project value.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of architectural drawings, models, and specifications, utilizing industry-standard software and techniques to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of building sites, existing structures, and environmental factors to inform design decisions and mitigate potential challenges or risks.
  • Mentor and supervise junior architects and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and construction, integrating relevant advancements into project workflows and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with project managers and construction teams throughout the construction phase to ensure alignment with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the design and construction process.

Requirements:



  • Professional licensure (or in the process of obtaining) as an architect.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural solutions.
  • Leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
