Data Engineering Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to lead our team in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex data engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark, Flink, and Apache Iceberg.
  • Design and implement efficient data storage solutions using distributed blob storages like Ceph or AWS S3.
  • Work with Terraform and Helm to provision data infrastructure as code.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
  • 7-12 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems and big data.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-team collaboration.
  • Expertise in Scala, Python, and Apache Iceberg (or similar table formats).
  • Experience with Spark, Flink, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and database design.
