We are seeking a highly skilled Lead/Senior PCB Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India.
Job Description:
As the PCB Design Owner, you will be responsible for driving the design of electronic boards for our next-generation products, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Control Units (MCU), chargers, and other key applications.
You will oversee all aspects of the PCB design process, ensuring adherence to industry standards for high-speed, digital, analog mixed-signal, and high-power applications. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the development of our products, and we offer a competitive salary package to attract the best talent in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Design and layout complex printed circuit boards, incorporating industry-standard practices for high-speed, digital, analog mixed-signal, and high-power applications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure seamless integration of designs, meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Maintain comprehensive ECAD documentation packages, including Bill of Materials (BOM), schematics, layouts, assembly files, fabrication files, and release documentation.
- Follow established best practices in PCB design processes to ensure high-quality outputs, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
- Serve as a liaison between prototype development and mass production PCB processes, addressing technical queries and providing guidance on design implementation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to the growth of the organization.
Requirements:
- BSc/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electronic product design, with at least 5 complex PCBA executions from concept to production.
- Excellent understanding of ECAD design tools, specifically Altium.
- In-depth knowledge of PCB design requiring differential pairs, high speed, controlled impedance, and high power.
- Strong understanding of PCB design considerations for EMI/EMC, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), thermal management, and safety.
- Experience with processor and BGA-based designs.
- Comprehensive understanding of IPC standards.
- Proficient knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, working effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines.
Estimated Salary: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum
