Enterprise Data Migration Specialist

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced data migration expert with expertise in SAP data management and hands-on implementation experience using Syniti toolset. The consultant will play a key role in planning, executing, and managing data migration activities for SAP projects, ensuring seamless transition and accuracy of business-critical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end SAP data migration projects utilizing the Syniti toolset.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze migration requirements and create a data migration strategy.
  • Perform ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent, and accurate data throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Develop mapping rules, validation scripts, and error resolution procedures.
  • Provide cutover and post-migration support, ensuring a smooth transition to SAP systems.
  • Prepare documentation on migration progress and quality metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in SAP data migration projects.
  • Strong expertise with Syniti tool for SAP data migration.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA modules.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ETL techniques, SQL, data cleansing, and transformation methodologies.
  • Experience migrating master data, transactional data, and configuration data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex migration issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP MDG.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and Jira tools.
