About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Prudent Insurance Brokers Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance compliance, with experience in analyzing regulatory requirements and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Job Description: As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing IRDAI and IFSCA circulars and guidelines, preparing brief summaries and checklists as required. You will also ensure advertising compliance by reviewing internal proposals and providing necessary disclaimers, approving, and timely filing on the BAP portal of IRDA.
Filing Regulatory Returns: You will be responsible for filing regulatory returns for IRDAI, preparing declarations, undertakings as per business requirements, and updating the monthly compliance calendar. Additionally, you will assist in drafting SOP's, presentations, and reports as per compliance framework requirements.
Identifying Emerging Risks: Working closely with the wider compliance functions, you will identify emerging regulatory risks and enhance reportable issues. You will also coordinate with internal stakeholders for various data analysis, detecting and preventing any money laundering activities.
Reviewing Terms of Business Agreements: You will review Terms of Business Agreements and provide inputs as per IRDA compliance purview. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's degree in commerce or finance, with a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in general insurance, broker, or TPA, bank & NBFC in compliance function.
Salary and Benefits: We offer an attractive salary range of ₹10 lakhs - ₹20 lakhs per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The company is open to discussing flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have good communication skills, quality management, financial planning and strategy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Pursuing LLB/CA/CS would be an additional advantage.
