Job Title: Freelance Data Modeling Expert

We are seeking an experienced freelance data modeling expert to join our team on a project-by-project basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying statistical/predictive models using SAS and Python.

The selected freelancer will be responsible for building, validating, and maintaining complex statistical/predictive models using advanced analytics techniques. They will also be required to lead the migration of existing SAS applications to Python, as well as mentor junior team members on best practices for coding and collaboration.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity with a flexible schedule (approximately 35 hours per week) and regular monthly payments. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for data modeling, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

  • Experience with Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, and PROC SQL
  • Proficiency in Python programming languages such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data visualization techniques

Key responsibilities include defining data modeling standards and workflows, performance monitoring frameworks, and guiding team members on best practices.
