Job Description
We are searching for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a vital role in architecting and implementing our next-generation data analytics and visualization tools. These tools will enable insurance companies to gain actionable insights into their operational performance, driving business growth and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with our company's technical vision and long-term scalability.
- Coding Excellence: Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and related technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in Java, software design principles, and industry best practices.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Java technologies, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development using Java/J2EE.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in frameworks like Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Good to have any frontend stacks like JavaScript or UI frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
